How to Remove Produced by an Autodesk Educational Product Plot Stamp

Our guy who is assigned on project site asked me how to remove “Produced by an Autodesk Educational Product” on his drawing. He sent me drawing and when I tried to plot it I got the error ” Autocad Educational Stamp Detected “. The Autodesk stamp is seen on all sides of the drawing. This plot stamp normally appears on drawings produced by Autodesk Educational Product but what we are using are not educational release but licensed copies so I need to figure out a work around for this problem otherwise we need to redo the whole drawing which I think the last thing my friend and me would do.

Quick research shows that the stamp is some kind of Autodesk bug (not sure about this but this is what I read from autocad forum & discussion).

If you plot to pdf you can:
1) look up the name of the layer with the stamp in the pdf;
2) copy this layer in your drawing and paste it in a new layer;
3) paste the second layer exactly over the first one;
4) the stamp is only visible in one of the layers;
5) switch that one off before printing your pdf.

I think AutoDesk went a little bit over the top with the four stamps. With one piece, it’s clear to anyone that the drawing is made with an educational product and the drawing still looks nice. With four stamps your drawing just looks like rubbish no matter how you look at it.

I have this problem with the text Error in BLOCK_RECORD Table.. after io try to save ind .dxf to get of the Eduacional text..
what solve my problem was:
1-open your educacional project and type de command: AUDIT
2-after that, save it in dxf ( in the box of save as you can change it from dwg for dxf)
3- Now you will be able to open your .dxf
4- Save the .dxf to .dwg.
5- smile

once again,. if you are using an educational version, YOU WILL GET THE STAMP ALWAYS, use a full version, open a new blank dwg file,. now insert as xref the file with the problem,. now bind that file, then explode that block,. save it with new name an plot again. plot stamp gone.

If you are using an educational product and you want to plot your drawing without a stamp this is what you should do:

1. Go to http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?id=6703438&siteID=123112 and download DWG Trueview on you pc
2. install DWG Trueview.
3. Save your drawing as a DXF file.
4. Open your drawing in the DWG Trueview program.
5. plot the drawing and be happy
